"Today, September 11, we as a nation pause in remembrance of the lives that were tragically lost 17 years ago.
We honor the commitment of those who responded with bravery and courage that day, and the sacrifices of those lost then and continuing effort to protect our nation and our allies.
The resilience of our nation in the aftermath of that fateful day is what we should turn to with great hope today, as we look ever towards the shining light of hope our liberty represents," said George Scott.
