Today, Ranking Member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) made the following statement regarding the Trump administration's decision to repeal the Clean Power Plan:

"This action by the Trump administration reinforces what we already know: they are committed to propping up coal at the expense of American families who will have to pay more for electricity as a result."
