Ally Israel Needs Our Support

Statement

The relationship between the U.S. and Israel is an unbreakable bond, deeply rooted in a commitment to democracy, freedom and peace.

Israel is our most important ally in the Middle East and the only true democracy in the region. Ensuring the safety and security of Israel is not only in the best interest of the United States, but of the entire world.

I am deeply concerned about the destabilizing role Iran plays across the Middle East region.

As a member of Congress, I will support efforts that combat Iran's ballistic missile program, its support for terrorism among its neighbors, and human rights abuses to its own people.

In Congress, I will fully support the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians. This process should lead to a sustainable and lasting agreement and can only be achieved through direct and bilateral negations.

I stand firmly against all efforts to boycott, legitimize and sanction Israel. In Congress, I will look for new ways to deepen our relationship with Israel through trade and technological advancement.
