JB Pritzker Calls on Rauner to Sign Wage History Bill on His Desk

Today, JB Pritzker released the following statement urging Bruce Rauner to sign HB 4163, the wage history bill now on his desk that was co-sponsored by Juliana Stratton:

"The wage history bill championed by Representative Anna Moeller, Senator Cristina Castro, my running mate Juliana Stratton, and activists across our state is critical legislation that will help close the wage gap in Illinois, and I urge Bruce Rauner to sign it immediately," said JB Pritzker."Preventing employers from asking salary history is an important step to level the playing field in the workplace. Women deserve a partner in the governor's office that will move our state toward gender parity and make sure they have every opportunity to succeed. If Rauner fails to stand up for women and sign this critical bill as he has done in the past, I will make sure it's one of the first I sign as governor."
