Unions play a critical role in our economy, as they provide workers with livable wages, a safe work environment, and quality benefits for their families. That's why Tina believes that stronger unions make for stronger communities and families. She is proud to have been endorsed by the MN AFL-CIO, SEIU, AFSCME Council 5, Teamsters, Building Trades, Steelworkers, and Education Minnesota.

As Lt. Governor and Chief of Staff:

Helped raise Minnesota's minimum wage.
Supported equal pay for men and women.
Expanded parental leave for public workers.
Continuously fought attacks on unions.
In the Senate:

Serves on the bipartisan Select Committee to help find solutions to the pensions crisis threatening 22,000 Minnesotans.
Co-sponsored legislation fighting wage theft, and getting workers the wages they earned.
