Issue Position

Improving the health and well-being of all South Carolinians is a top priority for my administration. Obamacare was an unprecedented encroachment on state sovereignty, and as attorney general, I led the fight against this ill-conceived, big government mandate. I believe we can ensure greater access and affordability in the following ways:

Removing anti-free market mandates and regulations to allow for investment, expansion, and ingenuity to lower health care costs for South Carolina families.
Encouraging healthier behaviors.
Expanding access to telemedicine.
