Issue Position

Terrorism is now almost exclusively the result of radical Islam, not just in the United States but throughout the world. Thousands of innocent men, women, and children have been needlessly murdered by religious zealots, whether Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, or ISIS. I support President Trump's travel restrictions, which are a commonsense response to the threat from nations who harbor or fund terrorism. I have a strong record in support of homeland and national security, as well as our intelligence community. My first obligation to the people of Arizona is to make sure they are safe.
