Issue Position

I have always believed that life begins at conception and because of that belief I've worked to end funding to Planned Parenthood for its abortion services. I believe the Supreme Court was wrong in adopting Roe v. Wade, which is a dark stain on the Court. I'm proud to have been a speaker at the March for Life in Washington and champion for life in the House of Representatives. I have an A rating from National Right to Life and am co-sponsor of the Heartbeat Bill, which makes abortions illegal as soon as the fetus' heartbeat can be detected.
