U.S. Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-16) issued the following statement after President Trump signed an executive order ending the separation of families at the southern border:

"I am glad President Trump took action today to keep families together at the southern border. His leadership is critical to correcting our immigration policies. But our system remains broken. Congress should take action to make this change permanent, secure our border, and fix our immigration system that is still in desperate need of reform."
