"My district, in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, has the highest uninsured rate of any Congressional District in the country. The Justice Department's brief urging the Texas courts to strike down a provision of the ACA jeopardizes the healthcare of millions of Texans," said Congressman Veasey.
"We cannot allow insurance companies to discriminate against the over 10 million Texans suffering from pre-existing conditions. It's a direct attack on their health and livelihood. These are Texans that need access to care the most. It's another despicable decision lacking in basic human empathy by the Trump Administration."
