Protecting access to healthcare has been one of Joe's top priorities throughout his career in public service. He has fought to expand access to healthcare for millions of previously uninsured, sponsored landmark autism health insurance law requiring carriers to cover the cost of autism screening and treatment, and was instrumental in passing legislation to address the scourge of opioid abuse plaguing our neighborhoods.
