Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) released the following statement today after the advancement of the fiscal year 2019 Defense Appropriations bill out of committee. This bill provides $674.6 billion total for fiscal year 2019 to support our troops on the front lines.
"Providing for the common defense is a national imperative. Advancing this bill out of committee builds on the significant progress we have made in restoring America's national defense capability. For the men and women deployed around the globe ready to fight tonight, this bill ensures they are properly manned, trained, and equipped to do our nation's bidding."
