Issue Position

Strongly believes that America should be strengthening our relationships with our allies, treating our adversaries as our adversaries, and never send our troops into harm's way unless they are sent with a clear plan and the resources necessary to win.

Leading the charge to eradicate MS-13 and other violent criminal gangs attacking Long Island communities. Introduced the Protecting Our Communities from Gang Violence Act (H.R. 5065), legislation that revokes citizenship from naturalized immigrants involved in gang activity.

Voted to secure our border and increase funding for border protection and enforcement (Make America Secure Act, H.R. 3219).

Served on active duty for four years in the U.S. Army, as a Military Intelligence Officer, Federal Prosecutor, and Military Magistrate, among other duties. After being assigned as a paratrooper to the Army's elite 82nd Airborne Division, Lee was deployed to Iraq in the summer of 2006. He now serves as a Major in the Army Reserves.

A leading advocate on the effort to defeat ISIS and other terror threats, correct a flawed Iran Nuclear Agreement, and denuclearize North Korea.

Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Middle East and North Africa Subcommittee, and Terrorism, Nonproliferation and Trade Subcommittee.

Introduced the Protect America Act (H.R. 3998) to prevent terrorists from purchasing firearms, while protecting the due process rights of Americans.
