JB Pritzker released the following statement on Donald Trump's new proposal that would ban Planned Parenthood and other organizations from providing full reproductive healthcare services with federal dollars:

"Donald Trump is closing out National Women's Health Week with a shameful attack on women and the largest provider of reproductive health services in the country," said JB Pritzker. "Over 60,000 women in Illinois rely on Planned Parenthood for quality medical care, and in many central Illinois communities, their clinics are the only providers of critical services. Yet Bruce Rauner has repeatedly remained silent as Donald Trump attacks our country's healthcare system. Our state should support these vital institutions, and as governor, I will always stand with Illinois women and families. It's past time for Bruce Rauner to do the same."
