Americans are the most honest, hardworking people in the world and they deserve a government with the same values. Unfortunately, our federal government has proved, especially recently, that they cannot be trusted. Scandals such as the NSA's data collecting and the IRS targeting conservative groups have left American's questioning the government's ability to truly protect taxpayers.

David believes we must ensure that all government agencies are held accountable and focus on what is best for every American, not what is best for bearcats in Washington.

It is important to David to be one of the most transparent and accessible Members to ever represent California's Central Valley. It is also extremely important to David that he remain in touch with his District and the community he has lived his entire life.

Today, David and his family live on their dairy farm in Hanford where they are raising their three children. On weeks that Congress votes in Washington, David is on the last flight out and on the first flight back to California after votes. David spends as much time as he can traveling throughout the Counties of Kings, Tulare, Kern, and Fresno. He regularly hosts public town-hall style meetings and frequently participates in roundtables with community and industry leaders.
