Congressman Ron Estes (R-Kansas) released the following statement on the 2018 Farm Bill:

"Kansans understand the value of hard work, so it's unfortunate that Nancy Pelosi and congressional democrats are holding Kansas farmers and ranchers hostage over requiring able-bodied people to work for food stamps," said Rep. Estes. "The farm bill would provide needed certainty for Kansas farmers and ranchers by protecting crop insurance and repealing burdensome Obama-era regulations like the Waters of the U.S. rule. I will continue to fight for Kansas farmers and ranchers and urge Nancy Pelosi and congressional democrats to stop playing political games with the farm
