Issue Position

As a veteran myself and father of a decorated Navy SEAL, I know firsthand that our military must be prepared and second to none in the world. Ensuring that our service members have the equipment and training to deter aggression and defeat it when called upon is vitally important. That's why I have voted to restore critically needed funding to our military so that our troops are fully equipped and trained. During these dangerous times, we must also have a Missile Defense System that will protect Americans from the growing threat posed by nuclear weapons and missile technology in the hands of rogue nations.
