Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) issued the following statement on the release of three American prisoners of North Korea:

"I applaud the diplomatic leadership of newly-confirmed Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. The release of these 3 American prisoners by North Korea is another important milestone achieved on the way to possible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and regional stability. Rooted in skepticism and continuing our maximum pressure strategy, the future looks brighter than ever before."
