Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) released the below statement following His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, President of France, addressing a joint session of Congress:
"President Macron today delivered a unifying message on the special relationship between the United States and France. Our countries have stood together since the American Revolution, fighting for our shared ideals of liberty, freedom, and democracy. Our friendship with France has proven lasting, and we must continue working together towards achieving our common objectives of eliminating terrorism worldwide, ending nuclear proliferation, and promoting transatlantic trade."
