U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released the following statement today after House Speaker Paul Ryan announced that he would not run for re-election:
"Speaker Ryan has dedicated himself to improving the lives of the American people. His legacy will include once in a generation tax reform that will help millions of working families for years to come. As a husband and a father, I understand the challenges he has faced between his obligations in Congress and devoting time to his family.
