"As we learn more facts about this tragic shooting, our hearts go out to Stephon Clark's family and the community. It's very clear that we need a full investigation to find out what happened and to make sure a tragedy like this doesn't happen again. Having served with Attorney General Xavier Becerra in Congress, I have no doubt he will conduct a thorough investigation. In this difficult time I would ask everyone to keep Stephon and his family in your prayers."
