Daines Calls on OPM to Address Workplace Harassment

U.S. Senator Steve Daines today, during a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing, urged the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to take steps to expedite the termination process for federal employees who have engaged in harassment, including sexual harassment.

"Our national parks and places of work must be safe for all employees," said Daines. "OPM and federal agencies must take steps now to make sure bad actors are removed as quickly as possible."

Daines is the Chairman of the U.S. Committee on Energy and Natural Resources' Subcommittee on National Parks.
