Governor Reaffirms His Support of Actions Taken By the Colorado House to Address Sexual Misconduct Allegations Facing Lawmakers

Press Release

Date: March 1, 2018
Location: Denver, CO

This afternoon, Gov. Hickenlooper reaffirmed his support of actions taken by the House of the Representatives to address sexual misconduct allegations facing lawmakers.

"I do not endorse President Grantham's plan as presented today. As I've previously stated, in situations such as the ones we've been dealing with, a fair investigation by an independent third party should take place before any action is taken. In the case of Rep. Lebsock, an investigation is concluded and the House of Representatives should proceed under the rules it has established."
