Congressmen Lou Correa (D-CA) released the following statement after the Senate's failure to pass a solution for DREAMers:
"To our DREAMers, don't lose hope. Continue to work hard, study hard, pay your taxes. You are the kind of immigrants that make America great-that Americans want. You're soldiers, police officers, college students, and teachers. You're our family and our neighbors.
Eighty-seven percent of Americans support you.
Sadly, you are pawns in a DC political game. Remember who you are. You worked hard to be here and have beaten the odds.
This struggle is not over. It's the end of round 2 in a 15 round fight.
I will continue to fight for you in DC. You keep being good Americans."
