Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi released the following statement in response to reports of the Florida school shooting suspect's links to a Florida Neo-Nazi group:
"Today, I am calling on the White House to publicly denounce hate groups, white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and the alt-right. These vile groups have no place in our society, and every leader needs to condemn them in the strongest possible terms. It shouldn't take the brutal murder of children to speak out against these ideologies of hate, but in the wake of such a tragedy, there is no excuse to remain silent."
