Issues: Government Budget and Spending
U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) today issued the following statement regarding the administration's Fiscal Year 2019 budget proposal:
"I am pleased to see funding prioritized for infrastructure, our military, and efforts to combat the opioid epidemic in the President's budget proposal. As Congress evaluates these budget recommendations, we must address the true drivers of our debt by strengthening our nation's entitlement programs to ensure they are available for current beneficiaries and future generations. I look forward to working with my colleagues to accomplish this goal, and to ensure Hoosier priorities are adequately funded."
