Rand Paul Just Shut Down the Government

Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01), released the following after the government shutdown the second time in a month, because of Senator Rand Paul holding up the vote in the Senate for a personal, ideological agenda.
"This shutdown falls squarely on the shoulders of egotists like Senator Rand Paul. He threw a wrench in the bipartisan budget deal. We have a responsibility to govern, not play political games," said Larson.
"I call on all my colleagues to do the responsible thing and re-open the government."
