Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03) today released the following statement after the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced a two-year delay of the Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule:

"This is big news for Hoosier famers and agriculture producers. I applaud the EPA's decision to delay the burdensome Obama-era WOTUS rule. This rule hurts Indiana's economy and is a major overstep by the federal government. I fully support efforts to ditch this rule."
