Foster Statement on Opposition to Spending Bill

Statement

I voted against this spending bill because it will add hundreds of billions to our deficit and does not provide a clear path for DREAMers to stay in the United States. Congress cannot pass major tax cuts for the wealthy while simultaneously supporting a budget that increases spending. This irresponsible behavior will force our children to repay our debt decades from now.
