U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) today released the following statement after President Trump nominated Noah Phillips, Chief Counsel to Senator Cornyn, to be Commissioner at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC):

"A talented lawyer and dedicated member of my staff, Noah's extensive work on the Judiciary Committee will serve him well in this role. He will be a big asset to the Commission, and I'm proud to support his nomination."
