Budd Votes to End Schumer Shutdown

Statement

U.S. Representative Ted Budd (R-NC) released the following statement regarding the re-opening of the U.S. government:

"I'm glad that Senate Democrats came to the conclusion that shutting down the federal government over the issue of granting amnesty to millions of illegal aliens is not something the American people want. Last Thursday, I voted to keep our government open and this afternoon voted to end the Schumer Shutdown. It is my hope that Democrats have learned their lesson and will not pull another stunt like this."
