Rep. Frankel Opposes Republicans' Reckless Short-term Funding Bill

Date: Jan. 19, 2018
Location: Washington, DC

Today, Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-21) issued the following statement after voting against the Republican's fourth short-term funding bill this fiscal year, which would keep the government funded through February 16, 2018.

"Continual stopgap funding is no way to run a government, it prevents responsible planning for the military, veterans, and public health. Republicans need to stop dodging their responsibilities. We need a spending bill that addresses urgent priorities like fighting the opioid crisis, providing hurricane disaster relief, and protecting DREAMers."
