He treated all who he encountered with respect and understanding -- what we know in #Hawaii as the Aloha spirit. Every single day -- and especially today as we honor the life and legacy of Dr. King -- we have the opportunity to reflect on the progress our society has made, the challenges that we face, and continue to take action together to make positive change. Each of us can find a way to be a positive force in our communities, to respond to hatred and divisiveness with the light and love of the Aloha spirit, and to stand strong together in the face of adversity and seemingly insurmountable challenges."-TG
