Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) issued the following statement today regarding President Trump's actions to improve access to high-speed internet in rural America:
"Access to high-speed broadband is a critical part of today's modern economy no matter where you live. Yesterday's action by President Trump takes a positive step towards improving access to high speed internet service across rural America, which will lead to a stronger economy and more jobs. I commend President Trump for taking steps to roll out the red carpet for broadband infrastructure by cutting through the red tape."
