Statement Of U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell On Passing Of Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist

U.S. Senate Majority Whip Mitch McConnell released the following statement today on the death of United States Supreme Court Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist:

"I knew Chief Justice Rehnquist since the late 1960s. In my opinion, he was the most consequential chief justice since John Marshall. He was a great man and Elaine and I extend our condolences to the Rehnquist family."
