Today, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar released a statement on the guilty plea by former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn:

"This is an important development in the investigation. When the President's former National Security Advisor pleads guilty to a felony and says he is cooperating with the investigation, it means it is just the beginning and not the end. We must continue letting Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller follow the facts without any interference by Congress or the Administration -- we owe it to our democracy.
