Over the past several months, the investigation & the FBI have been the target of a smear campaign by Republicans in the media & by several Republicans in Congress to discredit the investigator & the investigation itself, by falsely painting it as biased or partisan.

Mr. Mueller is one of the most trusted & respected public servants. He's as straight a shooter as they come. Impugning his motives & calling his investigation a "witch hunt" or a "coup" is frankly hysterical.

What are Mr. Mueller's discreditors so afraid of? It's obvious, when you are afraid of the result, you attack the process."
