Rep. Nanette Diaz Barragán made the following statement on Michael Flynn's guilty plea and reports of cooperation with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election.

"Today's news is the biggest public development to date in the special counsel's investigation," said Rep. Barragán. "The American people deserve to know the full extent of Russia's involvement in our election and their influence on the Trump Administration. Special Counsel Mueller's investigation must continue aggressively without political interference."
