Today, Congresswoman Jacky Rosen (NV-03) announced that she has sent a letter with six of her House colleagues urging the Trump Administration to create a bipartisan task force to investigate rising prescription drug costs.
"It's been weeks since the White House signaled its support for investigating the rising costs of prescription drugs, but we have yet to see any real action on this issue," said Rosen. "Instead of following through on his pledge to reduce prescription drug prices, the President has just selected a former pharmaceutical executive to lead the Department of Health and Human Services. Whether it's Epi-Pens or cancer treatments, we cannot sit on the sidelines while hardworking Nevada families struggle to access these life-saving medications. This should be an urgent and bipartisan priority, and the White House has an obligation to fulfill its promise to the American people by addressing this issue immediately."
