Congressman Williams Votes to Overhaul Current Tax Code

Statement

U.S. Congressman Roger Williams (R -- Austin), released the following statement today after the House passed the Senate amended H. Con. Res. 71, the Budget for Fiscal Year 2018:

"The budget resolution passed today was a critical benchmark to fulfill our promise of comprehensive tax reform for the American people. I am hopeful that we can carry this momentum forward, and deliver a simpler and fairer tax code. It's time to jumpstart this economy, and pass a tax reform bill that encourages economic growth and allows Americans to keep more of their hard earned paychecks."
