Today, following passage of H. Con. Res. 71, the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget Resolution, U.S. Representative Glenn "GT' Thompson issued the following statement:
"The bicameral agreement presented in the budget resolution sets the stage for comprehensive tax reform, which has not been addressed in a generation. The budget resolution ensures that Congress will spend this fall working on a tax package to provide relief for American families, but also to re-energize and unleash the potential of the American economy. I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to ensure the final product is fair and moves our country in the right direction."
