Dear Mr. Bezos:

We write to express our strong support for Indiana to be selected as the location for Amazon's new second company headquarters (HQ2). Our state provides a unique combination of a robust and talented workforce, an effective transportation infrastructure network, competitive cost-of-living, and a friendly business environment that has allowed Indiana to be the preferred location for a growing number of domestic and foreign businesses. We urge you to join this surge of Hoosier economic growth.

Businesses and workers from all over the world are attracted to our world-class universities, strong manufacturing sector, growing technology industry, and significant logistics assets. Indiana continues to be recognized as one of the best states in the country to do business, and Hoosiers understand what it takes to make a business successful in the 21st century.

Indiana would provide Amazon with a critical location to help coordinate Amazon's continuously expanding operations and an effective transportation infrastructure network to support the logistics of moving goods across the country and around the world. Additionally, Indiana is already home to several Amazon facilities and thousands of incredibly capable Amazon employees, highlighting the confidence Amazon has in the people of Indiana and their ability to assist in managing its future growth.

Thank you for your consideration to make Indiana home to Amazon HQ2. We look forward to your company's continued success in our state.

Sincerely,

Joe Donnelly
U.S. Senator

Todd Young
U.S. Senator
