Rep. Ro Khanna, member of the House Budget Committee, issued the following statement on passage of the GOP's FY 2018 Budget Resolution, which allows Republicans to fast-track tax cuts to millionaires and large corporations:
"Today by only four votes, Congressional Republicans approved a misguided budget to fast-track massive tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires at the expense of middle class. I am disappointed to see wealthy corporations put before hard-working families. I pledge to fight for the middle class with solutions like my bill, the GAIN Act, which would double the earned income tax credit for working families and increases the credit for childless workers almost sixfold."
