DeSantis Lauds Reports President Trump Will Designate the IRGC as a Terrorist Group

Rep. Ron DeSantis (FL-06), Chairman of the National Security Subcommittee, issued the following statement regarding reports that President Donald Trump will designate the Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization:

"The Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps wreaks havoc across the Middle East and is dedicated to fomenting jihad. The IRGC's Quds Force was responsible for killing -- at a minimum -- hundreds of U.S. troops during the conflict in Iraq. While the Obama administration empowered the IRGC, President Trump would be right to designate it as a terrorist group."
