Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) released the following statement after the House of Representatives passed its FY 2018 budget with reconciliation instructions regarding tax reform:

"It's time to do what the American people sent us here to do: reform the tax code so everyday Americans can keep more of their hard-earned money. Today's budget vote opens the door to tax reform, and I look forward to working with my colleagues to lower rates, simplify the tax code and encourage economic growth. It's time to keep our promise."
