Congressman Kevin Cramer issued the following statement after the Department of Interior's Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announced the suspension of the Obama-era Methane rule, which failed by a Senate vote of 49-51 to be permanently blocked earlier this year:

"I applaud this decision and thank the Trump Administration for supporting North Dakota's energy workers. Unfortunately, when the Senate had a chance to permanently repeal this harmful rule, only 49 had the courage to stand with working Americans. This rule will rear its ugly head the next time a Democratic President controls the White House."
