Budd Praises Proposed GOP Tax Reform Plan

U.S. Representative Ted Budd (R-NC) released the following statement on the Republican tax reform plan.

"I applaud the plan that was released today because it includes many provisions that are long overdue. Specifically, it would give Americans workers a raise by allowing them to keep more of their hard-earned money," Red. Budd said. "One of President Trump's main priorities in his first year was to bring tax-relief for middle-class families, and this plan would do just that."

"It's now up to us in the House to turn this into a reality. I look forward to working with my colleagues in the coming weeks to ensure more jobs can be brought back to North Carolina and that middle-class families in our state get the raise they deserve."
