Protecting The Rights We Enjoy

Statement

Hi, Friend-

The Founding Fathers, the Framers of the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights could not have been more clear about the nature of the right and the purpose of the Second Amendment. Just as the Founding Fathers of our great Nation understood the importance of gun rights, I believe, like you, these rights must be protected.

Taking away law-abiding citizen's enumerated rights is a slippery slope that will undoubtedly have dire consequences. This summer, I made it a point to visit Elite Shooting Sports in Prince William County to freshen up my skills on the range; more specifically, my small firearm proficiency. I toured the facility and discussed current legislation to protect the rights of gun owners and sportsmen across the country.
During the 115th Congress, I have already co-sponsored several pieces of legislation to protect gun-owners, specifically the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, which would ensure that states treat lawful concealed carriers from other states the same as lawful in-state concealed carriers.

As Congress heads back into session, please know I will continue to be an ambassador for gun rights. Rest assured that I am committed to preserving the right of all law-abiding individuals to purchase, possess, and use firearms for legitimate purposes.
