Congressman Ron Estes issued the following statement following President Trump's tax reform address:

"Real tax reform will jumpstart our economy and allow more Americans to climb up the economic ladder," said Rep. Estes. "Our antiquated tax code is destroying the ability of American businesses ability to compete abroad -- some companies have an effective tax rate of almost 40 percent. Simplifying our tax system will help lower prices for consumers and will allow companies to create new jobs."
