Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03) issued the following statement after voting for a bill that would fund the (1) Department of Defense; (2) Department of Veterans Affairs; (3) U.S. Department of Energy and (4) U.S. Congress:

"This is an important bill that provides funding for our country's national security needs," said Banks. "In addition to funding our military and providing for our veterans, this bill would help build the wall along our southern border. It would give our law enforcement officers the means necessary to secure the areas of the border with the highest risk and greatest operational need."
